🔬 Post 1: Scientific Assistant/B (Radiopharmacy Lab)
The Radiation Medicine Centre is looking to fill one (01) post in the grade of Scientific Assistant/B. This is a critical temporary role focused on radiopharmacy.

💰 Emoluments and Term
The successful candidate will be offered $19,502/-$ per month, plus Dearness Allowance (D.A.) as admissible for a Scientific Assistant/B (pre-revised).
The period of appointment is temporary, lasting not more than 89 days at one time, with a maximum limit of 2 terms.
📝 Key Responsibilities
The Scientific Assistant/B will be tasked with important functions related to nuclear medicine preparations:
Preparation of Radiopharmaceuticals under supervision.
Quality Control (QC) & Quality Assurance (QA) of RPh.
Data entry and Documentation of daily QC charts.
Maintenance of inventory.
🚨 Screening Procedure (If Response is High)
If the number of candidates with the aforesaid experience exceeds 15, a rigorous screening process will be implemented. Only 15 candidates will be screened in for the interview, based on the following priority:
Experience in working in a Radiopharmacy Lab AND the highest percentage of marks obtained in B.Sc..
Experience in working in a facility handling radioisotopes AND the highest percentage of marks obtained in B.Sc..
Important Note: Female candidates who are pregnant are not allowed to work in the Radiopharmacy Lab. Selected candidates will have to obtain a Medical certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner and also a Police Verification Certificate.
🐾 Post 2: Technician/B (Animal House Attendant)
The RMC is also recruiting for one (01) post of Technician/B (Animal House Attendant) on a locum/adhoc (temporary) basis.

The salary for the Technician/B post is $11,730/-$ per month, plus D.A. (pre-revised) as admissible for Technician/B.
The appointment period is temporary, not exceeding 89 days at one time, for a maximum of 2 terms.
📝 Key Responsibilities
The Animal Care Attendant is responsible for the overall care of the animals and routine/project-related work within the Animal House Facility. Duties include:
Daily feeding, watering to the animals, and cleaning.
Autoclaving of cages, bottles, racks, etc., in the animal colony.
Maintaining all records associated with the facility.
Helping out during animal experiments, such as restraining and handling for injection of radioisotope, drugs, radio-pharmaceuticals, or any other medication.
General cleaning and dusting of tables, bench work tables, instruments, etc..
Any other facility-related work or emergency duties whenever required.

If the number of candidates applying for this post is more than 10, candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on the highest percentage obtained in HSC.
Selected candidates will have to obtain a Medical certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner and also a Police Verification Certificate.
